Personal Training

 

People have different needs at different times, so if you are looking for a particular programme of training then please let me know. I am a fully qualified Personal Trainer as well as Pilates Teacher so if you have specific goals related to weight loss, muscle gain, rehabilitation, nutrition or anything else please just give me a call to discuss them and we'll see what we can do!

 

I have worked with people who are getting back into exercise after an injury or a long break, those who have very hectic lives and need flexible training options, brides to be and their bridesmaids losing weight and toning up for the big day, people recovering from back and neck injuries, cyclists, tri-athletes, rugby players, dancers... all sorts!

 

My approach to Personal Training is very much tailored to the individual's needs and lifestyle.  I work with each client to find out what they want to achieve, what motivates them and to ensure that they are supported every step of the way to reach their goals.  I love working with different people and seeing them find strength and determination they never thought they had.  I aim to strike the right balance between the science bit, a good down to earth attitude towards exercise, motivation, a healthy dose of realism and a good kick up the bum!!!  You WILL get homework, I WILL chase you up to check you have done it, and I will go on about "core strength" until you want to throw a medicine ball at me!!!
